CDR Travis Spaeth, P.E., is the Chief Engineer and Safe Drinking Water Manager at BECQ. He specializes in environmental engineering and dedicated to ensuring access to safe drinking water. CDR Spaeth, possesses a deep understanding of the technical and managerial aspects involved in water quality, treatment, solid waste management, permit reviews, and regulatory compliance.

CDR Spaeth’s tenure in the CNMI has allowed him to gain firsthand knowledge of the specific water-related issues faced by the islands. He understands the significance of safe drinking water and the crucial role it plays in the well-being of the residents. CDR Spaeth is committed to leveraging his expertise to address these challenges and ensure the provision of clean, potable, and palatable water to the CNMI. He is dedicated to working closely with the Region 9 EPA team, local gov’t, and other federal partners, raising awareness about water-related issues and environmental conservation here in the CNMI. He actively collaborates with local stakeholders, government agencies, and community organizations to design and implement sustainable solutions for water management, solid waste management, and environmental protection in the CNMI.
