Jolly Ann Taisacan, MINA

Jolly Ann’s background in environmental work includes a strong focus on conservation education and program development and implementation. She oversees multiple initiatives at MINA: the Schools for Environmental Conservation program, the island-wide tree planting campaign Bring Back Our Trees, the Community Recycles Plastics initiative, and the Tasi Watch Community Ranger program. Her academic background includes an Associate of Science in Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. In 2022, Jolly Ann was awarded the Bill Raynor Micronesia Challenge Scholarship (BRMCS) and completed a Master’s degree in STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) in 2024.
